Roberto Cornacchioni Alegre
Bio Roberto is a Brazilian musician and keyboardist. He have studied with important Brazilian musicians such as Luiz Guilherme Pozzi (piano), José Luis de Aquino (organ) and Alessandro Santoro (harpsichord), but also with some foreign teachers such as Peter van Tour (Partimento/Counterpoint), Nicholas Baragwanath (Solfeggio) and Michael Koch (19th century improvisation and music theory). At the University of São Paulo (Brazil) he wrote the dissertation Entre Notação e improviso: Teoria e Prática nos partimenti de Giovanni Furno (1750-1837) for the master program in musicology. Since 2023 he is a PhD candidate at University of São Paulo, where he researchs methods of teaching improvisation/composition in the circle of Frédéric Chopin.
